Grilled chicken tenders tips for success

It's there! In my humble opinion, you're now an expert on chicken tenders.

Even experts can still benefit from a few simple tips and tricks. Here are some of mine:

Let the Chicken Tenders soak in the Marinade. Give the chicken some time to absorb the flavors. Do not leave the marinade on for more than two hours. It is best to allow it to soak overnight. However, it is best to let it sit for at least 24 hours. The acid from pickle juice can cause the meat's texture to change.

Don't crowd the Grates. You want the chicken to have room to cook, and to cook evenly. You can also cause damage by placing the tenders too close together.

The Grill should be preheated. Chickens that are not cooked to the desired temperature will burn faster if the grill isn’t hot enough when they are placed on the grill. The tenders will be great charred if you have a fully heated grill.

If it's cold out: Sometimes I feel the need for chicken tenders, even when it's not winter. I don't have the luxury of a grill but I can cook tenders on the stovetop by heating some olive oil in an oven skillet. It is not quite the same thing as grilling them but it produces really great results.

Have you ever tried to figure out what to eat with your grilled chicken breast? The story of my entire life. There are nearly too many choices.

No matter what your situation is, my side dish ideas are always a big hit with my family.

Dip: I almost always serve these grilled chicken tenders along with this chicken sauce.

Fries: Crispy fries go well with chicken tenders. Any potato-based dish is also good. If you have the time, I highly recommend making a batch.

Pasta: You have two options. Either make your own pasta or use a recipe for creamy pasta salad. Rice of any kind goes well alongside chicken tenders.

Vegetables include steamed broccoli, roasted asparagus, sauteed mushroom, and many others. A large green salad is always a good choice.

How to store and heat leftovers

Remaining grilled chicken tenders can be stored in an airtight container in a refrigerator for up 3 days. For reheating, heat the tenders in a small saucepan on the stovetop. Or, warm them in an oven at 350 degrees F.

Can I Freeze Extras?

Yes. It is possible to freeze leftover chicken for as long as 2 to 3 months in an airtight sealed container. However, it is best to let the chicken rest in the fridge overnight before heating and serving.
